About us
Commer Coffee started with a buggy, a 50 year old van, and a quiet kind of courage. When I was on maternity leave, I couldn't find a decent local takeaway coffee to fuel my daily bleary-eyed walks. I didn’t have a big plan, just a feeling there could be something more. So I took a chance. I trained as a barista, bought a vintage camper, and slowly built a business that could fit around family life.
From the early-morning local coffee runs, to busy weekends at events, and now offering our coffee by post, Commer Coffee has always been about connection. Good coffee, delivered with care and a personal touch. No fuss, just real-life moments worth savouring. We’re not chasing growth, we’re chasing freedom. Building a business that serves both family and our community.
It all started with Daisy
Our beautiful 1972 Commer Highwayman, tastefully converted into a vintage coffee bar. Daisy likes to show up for the big gigs - the ol' gal's over 50 now so she can afford to be a bit picky. But she can operate entirely off grid and her vintage class pulls in a crowd so she's the perfect party host. The jewel in her crown is our classic lever press Bosco coffee machine, imported directly from Naples where it has been hand crafted to produce the finest artisan coffee.
Then came along Clover
Our loyal workhorse. Clover is open 6 mornings a week in the heart of West Molesey, Surrey. We’ve got plenty of parking if you’re driving by, but we love it when you have time to stop for a natter at our “chat hatch”. Don’t worry if you see a queue - it’s the best opportunity to catch up with the neighbours. We promise, it’s worth the wait.
